This is an artist’s miniature giclée print, offered here in a limited edition of 180 made from an original watercolour painting by Jenny Chapman (which is now in a private collection in the UK).

A version of this image is also available for free download, so that you can print and frame it yourself. However, the quality and colour reproduction will not be so good as this print made and signed by the artist.

The Small Isles are the Inner Hebrides, of which the islands of Muck, Rum and – in the far distance on the left – Canna are visible in this view from the north-west end of the Ardnamurchan peninsula, looking almost due north. These extraordinary colours are not a flight of fancy, but were really seen during a particularly unusual spring sunset, when the sea turned as pink as the sky and the islands glowed misty mauve.

The print is presented in a hand-made wooden frame with real miniature glass and is ready to hang, complete with a gold-plated or silver-plated chain.

Each limited edition print is numbered and signed both on the back of the print (not visible when framed) and on the archival quality backing board, which is sealed to the frame in the traditional way with miniature paper tape. Each framed print is a unique object and has a unique code number marked on the back. A signed certificate of authenticity is also supplied.

This print is part of my Ardnamurchan series, and is a collectors’ item intended for collectors of miniatures and for dolls house enthusiasts. It is not a toy and is not intended for children.
